This tour is for you if you’ve always had a yen to spend time in this endlessly fascinating city – Venice - “the Queen of the Adriatic”.
Based in our charming boutique hotel by the Giudecca Canal we discover the ancient treasures and quiet corners ‘off the tourist trail’ with our resident Venetian, Judith Villanova.
Our tour takes you to: Piazza San Marco, the sumptuous pink and white marble Doges’ Palace, the nooks and alleyways of the ancient Rialto markets, the glamour and elegance of ‘La Fenice’, Frari Cathedral and the Gondola workshop.
Special full day excursions:
- Murano Island, where by private invitation we visit a ‘closed door’ traditional glass studio.
- Brenta Canal where we visit the palatial Villas and Gardens of a bygone era.
