Italy has many wonderful, diverse locations to visit but this area of St Margherita, Portofino and Cinque Terre is definitely the most memorable.
Our 4 star hotel in St Margherita enjoys stunning views over the bay and a spectacular garden and swimming pool. The hotel is just a two minute walk to the centre of St Margherita which has wonderful places to eat, irresistible pastry shops, amazing shopping, markets and many bars and cafes for relaxing. Together with your tour host you’ll discover the history and lifestyle of elegant St Margherita, picturesque Portofino and Rapallo - the heart of the Italian Riviera.
Discovering the special magic of the Cinque Terre by motor launch is the best way to explore these cliff hanging, pastel painted, fishing villages. We visit the five villages; and walk the cliff hanging ‘Lovers Walk’ from Riomaggiore to Manarola where we stop for lunch overlooking the stunning cliffs of the bay. We visit the ‘Bay of Poets’ in Portovenere, another unique village on the bay. In Rapallo we visit the Liberty villas of a bygone era and then stop to savour lunch in the Castello di Zoagli which overlooks most of this delightful Ligurian bay. Traditional Ligurian seafood together with their unique area wines are all part of this very enjoyable tour.
