Tour Meals
Eating is an important part of Italian life - so we will eat the Italian way - relaxing over meals with newfound friends and a good wine. Each day you will enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner with local wines in our favourite smallish, privately owned restaurants serving delicious, traditional Italian fare. We always leave a few meal spaces in the itinerary for you to make you own ‘mouth-watering’ discoveries. All meals are a la carte.

Accommodation has been selected for quality, charm, and location. Your small, privately owned 4 star hotels are comfortable and interesting.
Our hotel in Lucca is situated inside the walled town, at the medieval city gate in the grounds of historic Villa Bottini. Their adjacent annex is situated in a 14th century church. Rooms are elegantly furnished and the hotel has a lovely wide terrace and solarium. A magnificent old plane tree forms a vaulted roof to two spacious terraces overlooking the garden – ideal for having breakfast in a peaceful leafy private place. Some of the best restaurants and bars are nearby with the wide city wall almost on your doorstep. Bicycles are available free to guests to ride the walls and explore this elegant ‘pedestrian only’ town.
In the heart of the Cinque Terre our charming seafront hotel is situated right in the very old and timeless village, Monterosso al Mare. Recently refurbished rooms are light and sunny with windows overlooking the beach and all the action along the waterfront. In their restaurant they use produce picked fresh from their own garden and serve local fish and organic specialties. Close by in the winding narrow streets are delightful local restaurants, wine cellars and ceramic galleries.
In the Tuscan Hills our hotel is a beautifully restored country villa located in the Pisani Hills near the mediaeval town of Lucca, northern Tuscany. It is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves and is close to Pisa, the Versilian Riviera and the luxurious spa at San Giuliani Terme. The villa is very picturesque and has relaxing lounges, and a large swimming pool.

Transport is provided in comfortable, air conditioned, quality vehicles - no more than 7 passengers, your tour host and multilingual driver in each car. All passengers are fully insured whilst in transit with our land transport operator.
